Frequently Asked Questions
What is a tarot reading?
A tarot reading is a guided session using symbolic cards to explore your situation, gain clarity, and support decision‑making.
How does tarot work?
Tarot uses archetypes, intuition, and pattern recognition to help you reflect on your life and uncover insights you may not have considered.
What can I ask during a reading?
You can ask about relationships, career, personal growth, life direction, or any situation where you want clarity or perspective.
Do you predict the future?
Tarot doesn’t fix the future; it highlights possibilities, patterns, and likely outcomes based on your current path.
How long is a typical session?
Most sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the reading type you choose.
Can I book a reading online?
Yes, you can schedule virtual sessions through my booking page using video call or chat.
What should I do to prepare for a reading?
Come with an open mind and, if you’d like, a few questions or topics you want to explore. If your reading is being done online, I have the capability to record your session for you upon request. If you choose not to have your session recorded, I suggest having a notepad close at hand so that you could take notes.
Are you a witch?
Yes. I am a practicing witch in service to Lady Hekate, and Lord Hermes. I also work with Santa Muerte in my ancestor readings. I am a card carrying, cauldron stirring, spell casting, broom riding witch. I am not 'evil'. I am not a 'warlock'. I am an experienced witch who has been practicing my entire life.
How much experience do you have with tarot?
I have over 40 years of experience behind the cards. I draw upon numerology, astrology, kabbalah, and traditional meanings to get my answers.
Are tarot readings confidential?
Yes. Everything discussed in your session is private and never shared. I encourage you to take notes, because I will not remember the details. I release the readings after each session. I do not carry any energy from the readings around with me.
Can tarot help with major life decisions?
Tarot can offer insight and perspective, but you remain in control of your choices.
What if I don’t know what to ask?
That’s completely fine. We can start with a general reading and see what themes arise. My readings are designed to be well rounded.
Do you read for third‑party situations?
I focus on your perspective and your path rather than reading directly about someone else’s private life. Tarot readers view that as being a psychic Peeping Tom. That being said, it’s more than likely other people will make an appearance in a cursory fashion.
Can I record my session?
Yes, you’re welcome to record your reading for personal use. I ask at the beginning of the reading if you would like me to record it for you.
What types of tarot spreads do you use?
I use a variety of spreads, including past‑present‑future, Celtic Cross, relationship spreads, and custom layouts based on your question, but my go to spread is the astrology spread. It uses the 12 houses of the zodiac to give a well rounded reading that covers all aspects of life. I also use it as a wheel of the year to give you an idea of what to expect in the coming months.
For deep sessions, and past life readings I use a 22 card spread that I developed.
For oracle readings I use an elemental spread.
Do you offer email or written readings?
Yes. You can request a written reading delivered to your inbox with pictures and interpretations.
What deck do you use?
I primarily use The Heaven & Earth Tarot, Rider Waite-Smith, The Healing Light Tarot, Santa Muerte Tarot, and the True Black Tarot, but I may choose others depending on the energy of the session. I’m a deck collector, and have quite a collection.
How often should I get a reading?
Some clients come every 3 months, others only when facing a major decision or transition. Unless we’re reading on a completely different topic each session, or there’s been a major development, I don’t suggest more than once within a 3 month span, because not much will have changed within that period of time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled or refunded.
